The geoinformation industry is projected to reach a value of $1 trillion globally by 2030. However, for many, developing maps for the web simply means embedding a Google map on their website. This talk explores the wide range of alternatives developers have for adding maps to their applications, and how much more you can do with spatial information. We'll see examples of how to use maps in different frameworks such as React, Svelte, Flutter, and others. We'll examine libraries, 3D maps, offline solutions, and even how to create your own maps and cartography.
